Brew Loka Kombucha was born in the wilds of the Cascade mountains in central Oregon USA. Our first ‘mother’ – the culture used to make kombucha – was a gift from a homesteader back in 2008 who had his own farm deep in the mountains, off the grid and completely self sufficient. His name was Leonard and he’d been been brewing kombucha for decades – his kombucha was as hearty and authentic as he was. That mother traveled all the way back to the wild wild west of Manchester UK where Brew Loka was raised and today we brew our kombucha here in the traditional way – raw, strong, unpasteurized, and free from any additives.
